Training Educators.
Changing the Lives of Children with Learning Difficulties.

NILD builds the competence and confidence of those who struggle to learn by training educators and developing programs to help children become successful learners. We serve parents, children, educational therapists, and classroom teachers in the U.S. and around the world.

Dear NILD family,

It is with sadness that I inform you of Joan Seymour's journey home to be in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. For the past twenty years Joan faithfully and passionately served students in the Pennsylvania area at various Christian Schools. We are fortunate to have had her as part of our NILD family impacting her students, loved ones, and those around her with her vibrant love for life. Joan lived and devoted every day for the glory of God in all that she did.

Joan's husband Mike, described her as a Proverbs 31:29 woman "Many have done excellently, but you surpass them all." Joan will be remembered for her bright smile, her kind and gentle ways, her thoughtful and tenderheartedness and her desire to help others. The NILD family will miss her presence and passion. We, along with her students, will always be grateful for the positive impact she had in our lives.

Kristin Barbour
